Just who am I, anyway?

I've been a marketer for 15 years now. I love the challenge of marketing. Getting things that are useful into the hands of people that need them. Figuring out how to differentiate products from their competition. Finding new ways to connect with customers. Bolstering brands. Creating evangelists. Getting mind-share. Championing causes. Setting goals and finding ways to meet them.

Why do I have this blog?

This blog is part of my work as a digital marketer. I have worked in both the nonprofit and corporate world, where I've created a marketing strategies and tactics for a variety of brands, including SEO, social media outreach, analytics setup, and email messaging, as well as overall branding work. I've  also run blogs, Facebook and Twitter feeds, and handled analysis, forecasting, copywriting, channel management, and many other strategic, tactical, and logistical aspects of marketing.

I like having my very own social presence too, so I have a chance to try different things. These experiments help me to be a better marketer - I'm testing new approaches, so that you can benefit from what I learn.
